About Me

Red Dirt Roaming
Welcome to our blog Red Dirt Roaming, we are Mat and Jess and we have decided to take a year off work and travel Australia in our second hand trackabout camper trailer, towed by our 76 series Toyota Landcruiser. This blog will let you know how we have prepared for our big trip and will follow our adventures along the way. We will be finishing work in late February 2014 and are planning to start our adventure in mid-March in Port Augusta. We are mainly planning to explore WA initially, but will continue on around Australia if we have the time and money. We hope you will follow us on our adventures and we would love to hear any comments that you have.
